Victor Limjoco is an Emmy award-winning producer for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, the flagship broadcast for NBC News. He has covered the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, Superstorm Sandy, Gabby Douglas and the gold-medal winning women’s gymnastics team at the 2012 London Olympic Games, and the “Miracle on the Hudson” plane crash.
Limjoco travelled to the Philippines with nbcnews.com, part of a cross-platform newsgathering team for Typhoon Haiyan aftermath coverage. He served as platform manager for nightlynews.com during the 2011 Japan earthquake/tsunami and the 2009 death of Michael Jackson. Limjoco was one of the first digital journalists on Nightly’s staff to shoot, edit, and produce packages for the broadcast.
He graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, majoring in journalism and pre-medicine, with a minor in political science. Limjoco is a member of the NBC News Diversity Council, a committee of program leaders who oversee diversity across all news platforms.
