Victor Limjoco is a two-time Emmy award-winning producer for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, the flagship broadcast for NBC News. Leveraging more than 12+ years of storytelling, he produces breaking news and feature stories for a national audience of 8-10 million viewers each night. His stories include coverage of the Moore, Oklahoma tornado outbreak; Gabby Douglas and the gold-medal winning women’s gymnastics team at the London Olympic Games; and the “Miracle on the Hudson” plane crash.
Limjoco travelled to the Philippines with nbcnews.com, reporting with a cross-platform newsgathering team for Typhoon Haiyan aftermath coverage. He served as platform manager for nightlynews.com during the death of Michael Jackson and Japan earthquake & tsunami, collaborating with msn.com to deliver more than 25 million video streams for that coverage. Limjoco was one of the first “digital journalists” on Nightly’s staff to shoot, edit, and produce packages for the broadcast.
He graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, majoring in journalism and pre-medicine, with a minor in political science. Limjoco is a member of the NBC News Diversity Council, a committee of program leaders who oversee diversity across all news platforms.
